Classroom projects are one of the unique ways learning is enriched at Hamilton School. Our teachers and students work together all year long on group projects. The projects are an excellent way to build teamwork and deepen the understanding of a variety of subject matter.

Have a Heart Class Projects

Each year the classrooms create beautiful works of art to auction at the annual fundraiser. Take a moment to view a few of the projects made for the Have-A-Heart Auction.

5th Grader Poetry and Art Project

Students participated in a Poetry Workshop to create original poems relating to the Fall season. A visiting student teacher then led the students in a multi-step art project to compliment the poems. A handful of the students were invited to present their work at a Novato School Board meeting.

4th/5th Grade G.A.T.E. Book Report Project

On a monthly basis, students prepared a book report. Each student may choose to create a puppet depicting a favorite character, a mobile of a variety of characters, a scroll summarizes a chapter with illustrations, or a sequel to the book. In addition, each student does an oral presentation of the report.
